The 'ME' in the Team!

The heading says everything...

Is there an I in the Spelling of Team if not then why we're seeing it in Sports, Actually in Cricket...If there is no I in Team then why do the individual stats matter the most for a player or I can say for an International Player, Why does the Player play differently whenever he/she inching towards the personal milestones. When he/she is starting the innings it's too obvious he/she would take time to settle the things first 3-5 balls at least to settle the Butterflies in the stomach but after that we expect them to play freely or according to the match situation and they do play like the expectations but only till they enter in the milestoning zone it could be anything after 40 odd runs for a Fifty or after 90 or even sometimes after 85...they start to slow down the things for a milestone, to add another record in their tally. But does it really matter actually it does...it matters a lot otherwise they are not fools, A well-planned strategy of a good PR team.

This scenario is not only for batsmen but for bowlers too...they also start putting in the extra effort whenever they are close to their five-wicket hall but that's a very rare scenario and they can not control things like Batsmen. They shouldn't be blamed for this because Cricket is a batsmen's game nowadays, not a bowler's. We celebrate a Century more than a fiver by a bowler.

They say the big or great batsmen are the ones who are most selfish in the team, a batsman who's making a 45 in (20) balls and gets out is not getting that much of deserving respect in comparison to a player who is not out on 105 in (110) balls after the inning who is more valuable for a team, there could be many ifs and buts, this is how it is...Today we see what the broadcaster wants us to see or a well-trained PR team. Today every International has its social media manager, Player endorses tobacco brands, Grambling brands, and alcohol brands too but there is a question to ask whether they use it on their own. THE ANSWER IS BIG NO....and the rest is HISTORY

I don't know where it will stop or whether it will in the future, As Today it seems very unlikely...
